I am using Poser 5 and I just can't figure out how to make a curtain backdrop using the cloth room. I want to use a cylinder primitive as the rail and the hi-res square as the curtain. I thought that if I constrain some of the vertices on the cloth then they will stay stuck to the cylinder whilst the rest will drape. However it doesn't work, the whole curtain just falls to the floor when I run the cloth simulation. I have tried lots and lots of variations!! I have tried searching the Poser forums and the internet for hints and I notice that there seems to be a site called Poserfashion.net that has a tutorial on this subject, but maybe they are having a problem with their servers I cannot get to that address. I would appreciate any help.

Parent the cloth plane to the cylinder and use choreographed instead. This will work, I've just done it. What is then fun is if you create a short animation scaling down the cylinder length.

Alternatively don't parent the cloth, just set the top edge as choreographed and scale the cloth. That actually looks better because the rail stayes put :)
