From now until my monthly bandwidth allowance runs out, you can download a free save limited demonstration version of EasyPose Underground 1.2. This version is identical to the commercial version of the software except that it will only save figures with four body parts or fewer and it will not allow you to keep alternative geometries once the geometry switching tool has been opened.

You can also download these three quick and easy tutorials to walk you through the interface. Even if you decide to buy the commercial version, you might want to try these out to get you up to speed quickly.

The link above takes you to the store page, where you can buy the commercial version if you wish. The tutorials posted in my last message are designed to work in either the demo or commercial version. They include three simple figures, each with exactly four body parts, which you can work on to test out the software.

Woops! I almost forgot to mention - EasyPose Underground is currently on sale for $40.05. That price will go up to $45.00 on September 30, so don't hang about if you want to be able to buy it at the same price it was before the geometry switching tool was added.

Looks good! Any updates for your p-wizard plugin planned? Cheers!

Ajax ( ) posted Mon, 25 August 2003 at 4:58 PM

I want to add a couple of very small enhancements to the wizard. The main one is to remove the requirement for numbered body parts, but I don't plan to add much more than that (I was thinking of adding wave dials). I could probably sell a separate wizard just for geometry switching. However, I get a limited amount of time to program and the hourly rate of return for Poser utilities is a lot lower than for Poser content, so I'm trying to focus my programming time on Underground since it's the tool I use myself. I've been toying with the idea of making a version of Underground that checks to see if the Wizard is present before it will open and selling that as a Wizard to Underground upgrade to make it easier for Wizard owners to get up to the full Underground. I'm not sure how much interest there is though. When I had the month long offer for Wizard owners to buy Underground for $21 only a couple of people took that offer. Maybe there will be more interest now people have a chace to try out the demo and see how much difference there is between the two.

Some of us just messed around and let the upgrade deadline slip. Our loss :( A geometry switching wizard would be cool. But if you have everything in one package....?

ziggie ( ) posted Mon, 25 August 2003 at 7:42 PM

hey Ajax... I just did some (quite a few) ERC controls in about 4 minutes that would normally have taken me hours and still probably wouldn't work. EasyPose Underground 1.2 is one mean proggie..! A more than satisfied customer ziggie

EasyPose Underground 1.2 is woth 10 times the cost! I save so much time with it! If you make custom figures or clothes, you really need this program! Thanks Ajax!!!!! N

Thanks ziggie. I'm really pleased you're happy with it :-) Phillip, I think the best thing I can do is try to find a way to make an upgrade version that won't work unless you own the Wizard. I would love to offer lots of different versions, just for fun, but I'm just one guy and I have a demanding full time job, so I have to be ruthless about how I use the little time I have. Programming is very time consuming so if I'm going to do it I have to stick to one thing. Once I get a few little extras into the Wizard, I'll have to freeze developement on it. I'm sad about that, but I really don't see any other option (unless I suddenly become independantly wealthy and get to give up my job).
