Hi, I am seriously thinking of buying the full version of Konans MaxPose. I have tried the demo and I am quite happy about it. Has anyone got the the full version. How good is it? What are it's limitations (if any)? I run Max 3.1 on A PII 500 with 256mb. How would it fare with a lot of frames, say 500? Or more than one character? Or a character with multiple props? These are just questions of the top of my head. Any advice is very much appreciated. Colm... Also posted in Max forum...

I'm totally impressed and bought it more or less on release the new version will handle any amount of frames but the most I've tryed is about 200 on a PII450 celeron running 196 mb ram and it took just a few minutes to import....both movies I've done had one figure with simple props but the second was with a canoma model that ended up fully textured so that was a pleasant bonus...you can see the first one here http://www.poserworld.com/pgallery/balleydance2.mov just a test piece using a max BVH.......Steve

Thanks Steve. I do think it will be a great bonus to the animation work that I am doing now. Animating in Poser as an end product is certainly not for me. Your animation has convinced me this is the way... Poser/MaxPose/Mimic and Max sounds like the ideal combination... Thanks again, Colm...

I keep having problems with the demo. The scripts end up giving me errors. Maybe its me, but make sure before you blow the dough. Fredo
