Happy, happy! Joy, joy! No more gazillion obects when importing PZ3 files into Vue 4.2 beta! I may just run all my whole 3D library through Poser first, then into Vue! Hundreds...if not thousands of objects could be reduced to a single object this way! (hee, hee...I'm absolutely tickled!) -SMT :)

This is great! Do you still get the material zones if you do this? I haven't installed the patch yet. Shy and a bit busy at the moment.

This is great, I will love that feature....I will wait till the full version is out....no time to just do beta...but brave souls like you are such a help to us all. Thank you. Sharen

All materials remain untouched. Just "F6" to open the material browser and you'll still have access to each material in the mesh. -SMT

Wonderful. I was looking forward to Poser imports but reducing to a single object and retaining materials... bliss. Thanks for doing the beta testing.

Cheers,
Mark

Hmm, I always did this by "grouping" the object... Cant you select the body parts in the world browser anymore if you selected this?

There are no more body parts if you do this, only the whole mesh. (of course, you can allways choose not to...but it will increase your render times if you don't) The issue is that Vue is very sensitive to the number of objects in the scene...even if they're grouped. A scene with 100,000 polygons made up of 100 objects in 5 groups will take a lot longer to render than a scene with 100,000 polygons but consisting of just 5 objects. SMT
