Click on A to set the attribute: possitve, negative. (They always start out neutral). Make one possitive, one negative. Have the negative thing interesect the positive thing. Now group them and render. There should be a hole in your posstive thing. When doing this with terrains, make sure the terrain or lattice is solid.
If you have problems finding the positive/negative panel, select the item and click on the little "A" icon at the top of the row to the right... That'll bring up the attributes window for the object. The others bring up other neat panels (I'm not bieng insulting, I tried to explain this to another bryce user and we both got frustrated untill I realized he didn't have the slightest idea what I was talking about or how to bring up the Attributes, Material Editors, Edit menu etc. If this is info you all ready know, please forgive... Im not trying to patronize) That said, Caligula, how do you make a lattice or terrain solid? Is this in the edit pull up? Guess even an oldie can larn a new trick!

I've only been using Bryce 3D for a short time, and I'm a tad frustrated. I understand the concept behing Boolean Operations, but I honestly can't figure out how to do them. Can anyone please help? Thanks
