Attached Link: Coming soon to the 3D Comic Collective

I've still got some work to do... but she's off to a great start... I'll need permission from Allie to use her hair, Legume to use his cape. I finally figured out a way to make the boot tops without using a trans map. I'll post her (and the Taskmaster) at the 3D Comic Collective only when there are 20 votes in each cantagory on the 3D-CC message board. Doug

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

Mantra was a Malibu Comics title about five years ago... then Marvel bought out Malibu and their characters... then the characters faded away... You can find Mantra issues pretty cheap at most comic shops. Thanks for the permission Allie! I'll be sure to put your name in the credits... did you want me to include a link or email address? Doug

I still miss FIREARM... in fact, I was in one of their issues before Marvel bought it out and laid everyone off... bastards... Jack

Too cool! Do you have plans for Mantra's Dark costume as well?

Jack: Good old Marvel, if you can't beat them, buy them out. I still have the Firearm video. I thought Nightman and Prime were great characters. DL: I'm not familiar with the "Dark" Costume... my Mantra books are buried in my storage room... can you send me some pictures and I may give it a try. Doug

3D commics collective has a vote system?

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

Arcady: yep if you go to the 3d-cc message board (the link is on the left collumn of every page of the site) the bottom section of the board is dedicated to the annual creators choice awards! Please review the rules before voting, but please do stop by and vote... we need votes! Doug

Dark Costume: Color scheme matches the boots as I recall correctly. I'll dig up some images. Heh. Gives me an excuse to go through the collection. :) Another question: How'd ya do the above render? (Or what program?) To Allerleirauh: Mantra was also interesting because it was a male warrior's "esscence" placed into a female body. A female who had two kids to take care of...

{These names are seeming familiar to me; they aren't the same folks who were on a kid's animation a few years back, are they? (Feeling foolish for asking.) } Malibu's last action before being bought out by Marvel was the creation of an Ultraforce cartoon, featuring some of their major characters (Rune, Prototype, Hardcase, Prime) and a few new ones (I think); it also occasionally spotlighted some of their other characters (The Strangers and Night Man for example). I don't recall Firearm or Mantra showing up in the cartoon, but they might have - and could possibly have been mentioned in passing like The Avengers and the Fantastic Four often are in Marvel cartoons.
