Thanks. I must have deleted the mail. There's another at planit3d.com, too. But without a mast or sail. Or oars, either.

Aaah! That drakkar on planit3d.com is certainly the basis of the one at DAZ. Helmut Schaub is credited for the DAZ drakkar, too.

Flak, Darn, I knew that ther was something I forgot to post!!! Thats what I get for letting c coding get in the way. Anyrate I'm glad you posted it. I haven't had time to play with the model yet, but from eletrogiyph's pict it looks like just what the doctor oredeered. For some strange reason I was thinking that viking ships had crow's nests but I guess those came later with the Spainish or English. - TJ

Ewwww...c coding... I remember that from the bad old days. Yeah, I think crows nests came with the advent of permanent masts (but I could very well be wrong here) - I have this idea that longboat masts could be pulled down or put up at will which would make crows nests a pain in the butt... but as I said, I could very well be wrong.

Flak, These are the bad old days or the good old days, depending. You're more than likely right about the removable mast. I'll have to put that on my list of things to look up.
