A big big thanks to Dreamsosweet for hosting this prop for me :) Everyone should send a virtual hug & kiss to her too :)

===================================================
This is an update to the original Satin Studio that was prompted by many suggestions and requests from users of the original set. Several enhancements have been added including:

  • Two additional backdrops - a square backdrop cloth and a curved one that serve to better close the set and provide more scene options. All three backdrops can be used singly or in combination to produce a nice effect.

  • Along with the flat sheet cloth I included a tufted sheet that actually has folds built into the model.

  • Added a Square Pedestal prop

  • Re-UV Mapped surfaces to improve the appearance of the Satin texture.

  • Added a new reflection map that I think looks better and adds a nice multi-colored wash on the surfaces.

  • The geometry has been ripped from the props into separate OBJ files.

  • Added more Camera and Light presets.
    ==========================================================

The Satin Studio 2 is a series of seven props that form an intimate little studio backdrop for your renders. The prop comes with these elements:

  • A Backdrop Satin Drape
  • A Square Backdrop Satin Drape
  • A Curved Backdrop Satin Drape
  • A Satin Circular Platform or Pedestal
  • A Satin Square Platform or Pedestal
  • A Flat Satin Sheet
  • A Tufted Satin Sheet with Folds

Everything comes as Poser Ready props that can be loaded from the sidebar menu or for even easier use - just load the included PZ3 file.

The Satin Studio prop also includes 4 camera preset & 4 light presets for easy scene creation.

All of the prop's elements are completely modular and can be used separately or with other sets for maximum use and enjoyment.

Enjoy :)

LOL! No hugs and kisses needed, dear friend - it's always a pleasure to do something in return for all you've done for me, and my delight to be there when you might need me....you make paybacks heaven, not hell! ;-) Go pick it up, people - it's gorgeous, and I promise, no downtimes, you can get it whenever you want it!

Woh! Thanks so much, this is perfect for all those portraits when you can't decide what to put behind. You are very kind. Thanks very much.

You're very welcome and this is just what I made the prop for - a simple elegant backdrop for a character render. I also wanted to mention to everyone that if you are standing a character on the tufted sheet you can get a nice effect by setting up magnets at the characters feet to deform the sheet where she/he is standing :)

Getting a strange error message when I try to download this from freestuff. It says "error no file selected"

I often get that error - try refreshing the page.
