We have a 3 way tie for the September Challenge 2 for surrealism 2 for emotion 2 for rust I need some more votes to decide with one of these 3 shall be the winner for this month.

Me thinks counting firestorms vote here may be cheating since one of the 2 for rust was already firestorms...hehe... Let me clarify..... I need votes from those who haven't already voted for any of the three.... so far emotion has it.... Shall keep this thread open and available until tomorrow AM.

I originally chose rust for 2 reasons... 1. There's plenty of rusty stuff around here, and 2. it's specific. Nothing drives creativity to the limit more than tight restrictions. Seriously! There's a billion ways of depicting emotion, and surrealism as well to those experienced with it, but what can you do with rust? You have to get creative, that's what! You have to come up with ways of incorporating this specific theme into images depicting a variety of styles, whether it be surrealistic or emotional or whatever you can conceive. I would also consider allowing for anything akin to rust, such as other forms of decay or man-made objects in states of disrepair.

Oh shit! Guess more than a few people will want to kick my ass now, but I just realized that there were 3 votes for rust.... Novacane I apologize I did not see your vote for rust in the first thread I only saw your question asking about digital cameras.... this changes everything. 2 for surrealism 2 for emotion 3 for rust.....
