Ok, call me ignorant. Where can i get a free place to put some free stuff so you can download it? I have no idea to go about doing this. Reason i'm asking is that in my search for good materials for landscapes, reptiles, and badass looking cracked paint, I found none.So-I made my own,and you will drool over them. I promise if you help me, I;ll make sure you get some Killer Materials....

You must have a website, renderosity don't host files except images, upload your freestuff with a thumbnail, then follow Guitta's recommendation ...You must know the web address of your freestuff and thumbnail, not always very easy ;=)

Ok, that is helpful, but, Where can i find such a website?

Lycos.com, Yahoo.com, (not good: Fortunecity.com,Geocities.com, because they don't like such things and don't want to display thumbs. All free. They have lots of popups, but anyhow you must link directly to your stuff, not to the page. Pages with lots of popups are not any more accepted for free stuff. You need to zip your stuff and create a thumbnail 200x200 px to show how it looks.

Also, if you can afford to pay, for a few dollars a month, Renderosity has a file locker service; basically they host your files for you. I think there's about a $5 start up fee, then a monthly hosting fee. It's a pretty good deal. If you look on the front page, about two thirds the way down, there's a link to it.

There are still some good free sites available. Look here: http://www.free-webhosts.com/ http://www.freewebspace.net/ http://www.0hosts.com/ You might also be able to find someone here who pays for web hosting, and who's willing to host your stuff for you. Also, most ISPs give you web space as part of your account. That might be the best solution, if you don't want to pay for webspace.
