Hi, I'm a newbie related to 3D/Poser/Bryce/RayDream. The character was imported from Poser, the scene created in Bryce 4. Has anyone a suggestion, how to create some circular waves around the toe, when it dips into the water?? Is it possible with bryce? I own RayDream Studio, too. May use this (maybe a formula ) ? Excuse my bad english - I'm german. Many thanks for help

Create a terrain. Clear it in the terrain editor and draw a few circles. Apply a water texture to it and sink it down a little below the water plane.

Ionah has the right idea. One minor suggestion. Make some of your circles darker shades of gray to make some of the ripples sink below the surface of the water. Don't use all the same color for your circles.

Works great! Some finetuning is necessary, but it looks quite good, I think. You can take a look at the result by following this link: http://www.dschanz.de/3d_welt/Galerien/Neue_Bilder/neue_bilder.html Thanks again, -ds-

Another method would be to create a bump map in photoshop, Draw the circles etc. Then apply it as a bump on your material.

I remember there was a poser prop in the free stuff section doing just that. You could check that
