This started as just a fish tank....it had lots of tall leaves in it, and 5 fish, but the fish always crashed my puter, something bout all the transparent fins i made from water textures, not regular textures..lol So anyhoe, since i had to redo it, i added some things, mainly a whole room....lol The heart urn was from free stuff here, and the table the fish tank is on is also free stuff by Tony Lynch Designs... I made everything else...grins I wanted to experiment as i made this on just what can i make if i set my mind to it, so i did the fish tank(from the other picture), the couch, the rug, wall sconces, lamp (modeled after the one beside my desk), curtains, magazine rack, sleeping cat on the floor, the mirror above the tree, the tree in the tree lab, lol etc.... LOL I'm thrilled with this pic so far, other then the dern curtains. Thanksssssss for looking and hopefully some major C&C

My only crit would be that I couldnt live with that wallpaper. Arghh. Other than that, looking good. Love the aquarium. Perhaps use 3ds fishes from that Japanese site. Think its called Toucan?

lol thanks Sam.....was thikning about exchanging the recessed lights for lighter walls, but kinda liked the color....(we do the things iin Bryce rooms we could never get away with in our houses and real rooms....lol) hhmmmmmm wonder if a raised sky light would look ok?

You`re right. You only have to visit Renderotica to see that some people do things in Bryce rooms that... well, you get the point. LOL

I think your room looks very nice Jen. The only thing that bugs me really is that the rug looks like it's hovering an inch or so off the floor. lol 8) Catlin

Yep, apart from the Magic Rug :) I think this is a very nice interior. The light is really good.

Other than backing off on the ambience on the couch so the shadows on it are more in line with the rest of the room, I can't offer much advice on this. I think we all have done a room at some point, just as we have all done the reflective sphere over water, LOL! Catlin, haven't you ever heard of flying carpets? :^D

lol i think the rug is just a lil too thick, will try to flatten it a lil.... am also thinking of lightneing the walls a lil, so it is a little lighter, but not much, and will check the ambiance on the couch, and will lower it if any.. will definately look for those fish, either have to make some more, or get some...lol Anymore thoughts before i dive into it again tonight and let it render away allll night long....lol winks hahahahahahaha and for the record, i never did the sphere...lol

Lots of fish; goldfish, angel, guppy, tetra, etc. in 3ds format are available here. You are far enough from the tank that you are not going to see much detail. very nice setup.

Nice looking room Jen. I haven't done the room or the sphere. I better get started. Looks as if I am falling behind. lol I fixed that link here electroglyph 8) Wade

good start. I would change the floor though (the texture for that just looks off to me). Or make the rug contrast more against the floor texture (an antique rug texture might look pretty cool). And I agree on the ambience of the couch too. I really like how this is looking so far! hope this helps :)

wow wow wowowow on all those fish! that's so great! thanksssssss :D this is some of the one i made, although it never goes past 37% on the upclose one...well, where ever it is when it get's to the top fins, it get's stuck... this is the wireframe, with a render on multicolored background of one of the simple fins, and the mat i used for the body. the fish is coplete on both sides so i could manipulate it easily once it was in the tank. lol will work on that rug...grins and the couch tonight, hope to have a nother WIP to post on it tomorrow, also i want to fix the curtain, the rod is supposed to look like the drapes are well, draped over it, and the thickness is wrong in that corner....also, i need to make it show fuill length, not stop when it get's to the wall board... thanks for all the help so far! grins
