Subject: v3 eye textures on V2

Well I asked PDM this question since their eyes for V3 textures are nice but I have not received an answer, so I bring it to you all whom I'm sure will also know. Not having ever seen a Vic3 eye texture map file, I don't know if the placement of the iris, etc is different than on Vic2. I assume that it is. If it is, then can I also assume that if I bought any V3 eye textures, I could move the irises, eyeballs, etc. in photoshop to the relevant location(s) on a V2 eye texture map? I'll wait for any answers but it just occurred to me that I could see if I can get the V3 template from DAZ and check out/compare the positions myself. Thanks for any answer. Dave

Well rather than delete the thread, I'll just report that I saw the templates and I'm sure I can adjust the V3 eye files to fit V2. : ) Now for those nice textures. [g] Dave

another option is to remap V2's eyes to fit the textures...

There is another option for V3 eyetextures which I use-- I put them on BlackEyes by Blackhearted and Rio. Ive heard they need tweaking for this, but I've never found it necessary. I also use the BlackEyes textures on V3 easily. Emily

Or... if you dont have black eyes. you could use photoshop... as V3 eyes are a single eye texture which is seperate from the head tex, you could rescale it and overlay it on a V2 map. Making sure you used a higher res V2 map, maybe abouve 3000x3000, because of the lose quality when making them smaller... Or.. you could use the UTC if you have it or can afford it. But i'd say the photoshop option is worth a try!
