goes to show that we make more than rugby players here < Of course you do. There's also cheese. :-P Wow, that looks like a great program, especially for the price! ;-) Thanks for the link. I need to make a mental note on that so I can keep an eye out for it. bonni

Not surprise this great app came from New Zealand. The country is full of so many talented artists! And they seem to follow a philosophy of making art not war, guess it's easier when you're not dodging bullets all the time.

Deep paint comes from NZ too :o) and the boss is a big rugby fan :o)....I served with the NZ defence force a few years ago and even the ones that do make war are real nice folks ;o)...Steve

Wait, that's Andy Bearsley...very familiar. Wasn't he part of the new KPT team as well. I seem to remember having some email exchanges with him.

Yeah Andy works with ambientdesign. They worked on Painter 8, kpt, and the ArtRage software. wish it would come out, the team has worked with all the tops a Pro version of ArtRage would be so cool.

steveshanks ( ) posted Thu, 04 September 2003 at 3:56 AM

Well depends how you look at it, they where there before, during and after the gulf war guarding a french run air base, while it didn't get attacked i'm sure if it had they wouldn't have ran off ;o).....Steve

steve, what i said was kiwis (new zealanders) do not start wars, we help out cleaning up the mess and provide support where others have started them. :>) one day some of the powers to be will work it out that their r no winners

steveshanks ( ) posted Thu, 04 September 2003 at 2:59 PM

Ah well "make war" is very different from "Start war" :o)..typings not the same as speaking i guess......unforunately i don't think that'll ever happen, i think its just human nature ;o(.....personally i think you shouldn't be allowed to be in charge of a country unless you are a woman and a mother...i may suffer shouts of sexist or something for that comment but i'll stand by it ;o)......Steve

You mean like Margaret Thatcher, liberator of the Falklands?

steveshanks ( ) posted Fri, 05 September 2003 at 1:16 PM

Exactly like her, i can see where your going there :o), in the context of what i said, would she have had to send troops to the falklands if the leader of Argentina had been a woman...anyway in this case it wouldn't matter a part of Britain was invaded so we had no choice....Steve
