This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

danamo----------> 3 points muddygrub-------> 2 points windofchanges---> 1 point This was hard to choose from cause everyone did such nice work with this challenge. So I just want to say Nice Work People. 8)

Stephen Ray - 3 pts. Sambucus - 2pts. Zhann - 1pt. So much great work here, it was difficult to decide! I went for images that broke the norm, and didn't look particularly Brycean. Sambucus' piece was awesome, very imaginative and full of detail! Zhann's piece, although it looked Brycean, was excellent, sooo much detail! (And you call it a WIP!) But I think Stephen Ray broke down the barriers and made something that really stands out, and exemplifies tree-drawing better than anyone else's work. Good job, everyone!
Wow, voting was hard on this one--so many fantastic entries. 3 points - Muddygrub (love the tree, and that waterfall is fantastic) 2 points - Quest (beautiful scene, the tree is great) 1 point - Stephen Ray (I love the whole concept, very clever) Honourable mentions: all the other ones. Great challenge Stefano!
Really good everyone!!I should vote last so not many sticks are thrown at me .Here goes.. Zhann---> 3 pts Kate----> 2 pts sackrat-> 1pt Honourable mentions: danamo,lightpen,miden1138, catlin_mc, Dennisld

Quest - 3 points, stellar render here, hands down best IMO miden1138 - 2 points, nice image that wouldn't work as well without the excellent trees dan whiteside - 1 point, even thought it IS NVIT HM to MuddyGrubb for about the besy waterfall closeup I have seen. As usual a tough call between what are the coolest looking pics and what are the pics that seem to fit the challenge requirements closest. I had to try to go for something that used the trees as central to the image, not just as scenery. Awesome job as usual everyone, fantastic renders!!
It was nice to walk in The Bryce Forest you all planted :) Our favorite spots to visit; Dennisld: 3 points for his beautiful sad and lonely tree. Doublecrash: 2 points for a wonderful birds view. Alvinylaya: 1 point for being so optimistic about his lifespan. Thanks to all who made this journey possible. Willem and Madeleine
jausse - 3 - what a great setting - i love all the trees and vegetation. I also want to know how you add 300 trees and your computer doesn't choke on it. lightpen - 2 - what an imaginative use of volumetric clouds and they form the perfect backdrop for your little tree. electroglyph - 1 - there are so many cool little details in this image along with the trees. I really like the Buddha and the zen garden with the raked sand. Brycemaster become - yeah that was good! Well done everyone. Scott
I just don't believe how many entries there are this time! Most are absolutely fantastic and it's doing my head in choosing 3 from 68. But, Miden1138 = 1 Catlin = 2 Zhann = 3 Well done to everyone. I wish I'd had time to enter myself. The Bryster

Ok another very very tough one. I finally narrowed it down to like 50 favorites. I ended up chosing these based on if I could only get the receipes of 3 peoples trees which 3 would it be and still that only narrowed it down to like 25. So then it also came down to how the whole image looked, textures, compostion etc. Danamo - 3 points I hope he posts many of his tree receipes I was just amazed by his render. Also, I'd love to know how he made that terrain with the waterfall look like evergreen trees. Swade - 2 points I love that tree! Even if its 21 trees, I have to have that receipe! Quest - 1 point Love that spruce or whatever its called, but there are a few other trees in there that I'd also like to have the receipe for such as the scraggley ones. Too many HM's I'm afraid I'd forget someone if I tried listing them. Everyone did such an awesome job! Ang
3 pts - brittmccary 2 pts - scotttucker3d 1 pt - ornlu and honorable mention (and which there were more votes to go around) to Stephen Ray, danamo, Quest, cynthia399, alvinylana, Zhann, sackrat. In fact, I'm not sure there wasn't one I didn't like this time. It was especially hard for me to pick this time.
Wow - I was surprised at all the great waterfalls. Well done everyone. 3PTS: Zhann - stunning work on the watercourse and an overall excellent forest scene. 2PTS: Danamo - yikes, all that vegetation! and I was impressed by the different techniques used to make them. Thought this image was very nicely composed and a great job on the DOF. 1PT: Sambucus - reminds me of the Dutch school of painting, especially Vermeer's "View of Delft". Honorable Mention: Stephen Ray - what a great concept.
OK, this was a very hard challenge to judge and to come up with only 3 artists when there were so many excellent entries was a bit trying. After creating an initial list of 9 artists whose work particularly spoke to me I had to dwindle the list down by applying the guidelines and rules of the challenge and that was "the drawing of the tree" as central theme and needed to be in a landscape, lake, waterfall, forest, or woods setting. The ones that I feel best exemplify this are; Zhann -3pts. nuski -2pts. Cythia399 -1pts. Honorable mention goes to all the other great pieces but in particular; miden1138,MuddyGrub, Sackret, Chohole, mloates and Sambucus. Excellent work one and all!
Right, here are my votes: 3 - Zhann even if he doesn't like it, it makes me want to be there, enjoy the noises of nature and relax. 2 - Sambucus - very atmospheric creation. 1 - Miden1138 - I was in the fjords in Norway last week and it reminds me of the views I got there. It really is getting more and more difficult to choose. Josselin :-)
