Subject: Ok any NEW news on when M3 is comin out?

oh and whats this i hear about his and v3's texture map being almost the same? and we have seen all kinds of body morphs but NO face morphs. i personally would like to see some faces

He and V3 are from a similar mesh so I would say he'll be morph injected as well. No date as of yet. Of course, there wasn't an announcement right before the milcat was released.

Shain, I showed a face in the other thread.... here it is again.

This is wearing a V3Male texture. and yes, he uses Morph Injection just like V3.

Mike 3 should be arriving soon. DAZ is VERY close to release.

Drax, can you tell from your beta M3 if the templates are similar enough to V3's so that I won't have to make a new set of seam guides for him? ;) Thanks. SnowS

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing some morphs that would allow turning M3 into a Stephanie-like model. I quite like Steph for certain things, and while V3 is really versatile, it would still be nice to have a second option for a female character. bonni

Notefinger - I'm sure anyone who has a good grasp of magnets, or deformation in a mesh modeller could do it. I'll probably give it a shot myself at some point :) Snow, I'm not 100% certain, but it looks as though it's mostly chest area that isn't quite compatible with V3 textures. The 'seams' do seem (no pun really!) to be the same.

Without knowing (having seen no more of M3 than the average Jane in this forum), it would seem the differences in the template would be the same sort of differences between Mike & Stephanie's templates... chest, lips, brow/lashes and the like. Or maybe not :) I do hope for some fem morphs for M3... pure versatility with the 3rd generation Mil's.

I guess he is still being Beta tested,And having content made for him before his release, buzz around here points to maybe a release soon. His Beta images have been popping up alot.....

I want to note that Mikes eyes look like vicky 1, Maybe the person who did the Mike 2.0 morph should recreate it for Mike 3.0 to get rid of the cross Eyed look? Just a suggestion....

I heard that if you purchase M3, you get a free version of DAZ Studio. No, wait, if you purchase V3 now, you get $10 off M3 and a coupon towards POser 6. No, wait, M3 is due to be released any second. Oops you missed it. Now DAZ is sold out. There, that should settle the rumor mill for the weekend... until someone asks about M3 next week.

Y'know, this reminds me of being heavily pregnant and waiting and waiting... Due date comes and goes (pretty normal, as the due date is just an estimate)... More waiting... Pity we can't just induce and get it over with. ;) bonni

Our sources tell us that M3 is still getting finishing touches applied and won't be out this weekend. If you missed any of the other threads on M3 we have a listing at MalePoser with links updated for the most recent images. Personally I am very impressed with the faces by DraX and Neo10 - the fact that one is ruggedly handsome and the other is boyishly sweet shows a tremendous range and flexibility that was not possible with M2. Likewise the body is very flexible, as you can see from the various threads at Maleposer.

I spoke with a Daz billing representitive over the phone today. I was trying to buy M-2. She said that M-3 would be released wednesday. I decided to wait.
