Yea, the sharpening was definitely too strong. Tried combining a couple techniques and it was just too much. Not worried about it since I'll be doing this one again (it's like shot 199 out of 254). Aki - Nah, I just play around with it. If you wanna talk to someone who does exceptional creative borders, then talk to Cynlee. But don't tell her I said so ... don't want her to think I like her or something. :) hehehe Lately, I've been trying borders that match the tones of the photo. Notice how the dark areas of the border match, for the most part, with the shadow areas near the borders. Still working on it, but in this one I increased the canvas size, then scaled a copy of the photo to match the new size, inverted the color, used saturation and levels to wash out the image then applied a gaussian blur. Think that's right. It's been a while ... I came up with this one right after shooting Brazilfest and put it in an action so I may have a step out of sequence. :) -=>Donald
