I see the terms HDRI and GI used in these messages, what do they stand for and are they C-3 useful? Thanks, Vernonglen

High dynamic range illumination, global illumination. They enable more realistic renders than ordinary sun, bulb or spot lights.

Thank you, I see Global illumination listed as a choice under rendering. Where is HDRI? is this a Carrara 3 tool? Thanks.

I haven't used it yet, but HDRI is a Carrara 3 feature, and I believe it is a 'scene: background' option...
