Subject: rounded object smoothness

Hi all, I know it is something simple that I am probably missing. When I create an object in the Spline modeler with a rounded corner using smooth points, it looks great, but when it is rendered, it has 5-6 points so it looks more like part of a polygon that a smooth curve. Is there somewhere that I tell it how many sides I want? Sorry for the stupid question but this has been bugging me and I can't figure it out. Thanks, Vern

Hi Vern, In the modeling room, under the pull down menu 'geometry' is an option for 'surface fidelity'. It defaults at 100 and max's out at 1200. If you are creating still images, then max the fidelity. If you are creating animations, experiement with which setting gives you the best quality for render time. Mark
