The rumor of September 10th being the release date for M3 started when Daz said that on their website...it's not there now...so I called and she said that she was told to tell everyone to keep their eyes open...it could be today...or it could be "any day now". So I guess I can put my credit card away.

You do realize that as of this time, it is still only 9:34am in Utah, right? You do realize that it is still jsut early in the morning? That they have JUST gotten to work in the last hour or so? What I realize is that life will go on with or without Mike 3, that I don't need to acquire the newest doll at first release, that the hyped excitement will be soon followed by whining and complaining (in fact we've had that before the figure has been released). My credit card is staying safely in my pocket until the dust clears. I'll probably buy it eventually, but I don't need to be on the kid on the block that has it first. Fortunately Daz doesn't depend on me for their income.

I live in the same time zone as Daz so I know what time it is there :) And I am very eager to get M3 because I only have M1 and have been dying for something better but didnt get M2 since M3 was coming so soon Melory...who's credit card might not still be in her hand but it is still sitting on the desk calling her name.

DAZ has said "keep your eyes open" and "Watch your email" in several different places. I wonder if that is just teasing or if they really mean it. Anyway, I hope they were not teasing about the date.

what exactly is it about Mike 3 that is so superior to Mike 2 that people feel the need to spend hundreds today buying the character, morphs, textures, clothing & hair? Is there something specific about the character that people like or just the hype? It just seems to me that in most pictures you see done around here, the male is either a secondary character to the female or not in the picture at all.

The differences between Mike 2 and Mike 3 are similar to those you find between Victoria 2 and 3 ... a higher quality mesh will also produce a higher quality range of characters.

Oh ... also the joint parameters are improved, so the figure poses better.

ho humm... while we are waiting, does anybody know if that Pacific Seaperch uses the same mesh as V3?

Anyone know how much it is going to be? I did not see a price. I want to get a Micheal Model, but should I get the Micheal 3 or Micheal 2?

Well, ask your selves this people: In five years from now, will the release of M3 still be so important to you? Even if they release it at 11:59 PM, they still will have released M3 on Sept 10th.

I'm quite contented to work with Micheal 2 for the time being, but I will keep my eyes open for pictures with the new Micheal to see what exactly the advantages of buying him are. I was even thinking, horrors, of trying to work with Don for a while and the face room and seeing exactly what I can do with him. It may behoove me to wait until the M3 CD collection comes out, usually you can get a better deal buying milleum figures that way especially since M3 can't wear the old duds.

I agree with Tomsde. I don't use M2 that much so don't know if M3 will be worth the price. I'm sure I'll get him while he's on sale, but honestly don't know why. LOL

DAZ site says MS coming right around the corner.... I'm not buying him right away or maybe not at all...depending on price, my cash flow, etc :) But its all fun anyway

Actually, DraX, it's a SINGING sperm. I'm taking advantage of crosstalk so that I can have thousands of them singing in unison. So far, they only respond to the tune of "Itty Bitty Fishy", but I'm still working on it.
