Yes.

  • Get pal to take video of you performing an action.
  • Convert/save video as an AVI.
  • In Poser File/Import AVI.
  • Load Poser figure.
  • Line up the figure with frame 1 of the background.
  • Advance a frame and line up again.
  • Repeat for all frames.

Probably works best if the original video is face on but will depend on what you are doing.

Depending on how specific moves you need, you can buy Poer-ready moves several places on the web. I've also heard that some people have used Muybridge's famous picture sequences for rotoscoping.
