Well, this has been quite a week ...

First, call me crazy, call me nuts, but yeah, it's true. Platinum club members can get Romeo and Juliet for $1.99 each over at DAZ. Made specially for M3 and V3, I just went hog wild and decided to take DAZ up on making it available for a song and a dance.

Yup, we're crazy! But we thought you'd want to get some other stuff too. 8-)

This is a limited time Platinum Club deal ... but you still have time left. 8-)

Here's my other Romeo, just two days old. Meet Devin 8-) Yup, I'm a step-grandma. I can REALLY lay claim to the gray hairs now. ROFL!!!!

1st off I want Mike 3 lol that will have to get your outfit once I can get him wonderful work. And awwww Devin is sooo cute. hehe.

DCArt ( ) posted Thu, 11 September 2003 at 2:38 PM

Actually, Devin is the greater of the two accomplishments. Especially because I didn't have to do the work on that one. ... Seriously, isn't he just beautiful??? Oh man my pride is showing. 8-) I should also mention that Elusion has made some dynamite textures to go along with Romeo and Juliet ... maybe she'll post a render or two here as well.

Both the textures and the baby are just beautiful. :D

Congrats Deecey!! I know that baby will gets lots and lots of grandma love! And thank you very very much for being wonderfully generous with the PC preview!! I truly love your work and you have just saved me from having to hock my poodles to pay for the M3 stuff! Hugs to ya, and smooch that baby for me, Diana

Congrats Step-Grandma...on the baby and on your PC models (Dee's UV mapping, by the way, ROCKS...and I am spoiled by Anton Kisiel, prolly the best UVmapper on the planet). Romeo and Juliet were a delight to texture!

Here's my Dark Romeo and Juliet textures, available for a limited time in the Platinum Club. This is a straight out of Poser render with a quick pass of sharpening in Fireworks pre jpg compression.
The environment is the exterior version of my texture set called "The Balcony" (not really inspired for those fancy product names that day, I guess) for the SS Balcony.

But, again, those models were huge fun and easy to texture - it was an honor, Dee!

They are both dreams, but I like the little one more....congrats to you and your family. Sharen

DCArt ( ) posted Fri, 12 September 2003 at 7:46 AM

Hehehehe, thanks everyone. And I have to agree with you ... the little one definitely wins the prize. 8-)

DCArt ( ) posted Fri, 12 September 2003 at 12:46 PM

OK Richard ... the question you had might partially be addressed in today's DAZ newsletter, where it says that the "Limited Platinum Club Preview" is new to Platinum Club users. Products will be released to the PC only for 30 days ... and then they will be moved to the Premier store. So I guess that explains why it's not in the premier store yet. 8-)
