If anyone can give me links to some easy tutorials on making biomechanical, or reg mechanical stuff that would be great. I'm not really a newbie, I been using photoshop for a long time, but I have much to learn still.

Gee the best way I know is to go to www.rhino3d.com and download their free demo. You can make anything mechanical with it. From tools to cars to gears to organics, you can make it with Rhinoceros!

Pick up your Demo and come meet us in the Renderosity-Rhino Forum. You'll be a be a welcomed addition.

Also, Renderosity sells the Rhino Package here as well.

Rhino has many features, and a bunch of plug-ins that even supply animation.

How much does rhino 3d cost? I am guessing pretty expensive. Is the demo time based, like a 30 day trial etc? I was also wonderinf if all the features in demo are the same as full version. I'm gonna try and dl it, but I'm on 56k, lol. Might take a bit.

Heliix, student rates are cheaper. Also you demo will allow 20 saves, after that it remains fully functioning. You can view and alter files (including AutoCAD and several others. You just won't be able to save them after your 20th save.

How would I get a student rate though if I'm not a student? Maybe I can get someone to buy it for me but other then that I couldn't.
