Nice plane models (lancasters and mustangs by the look of it). Also like the hazy sort of sky - fits nicely to the theme in my opinion. Ok, my main C&C would be history based, and would concern the make and types of aircraft you're using in your picture. I'm not sure if that sort of detail is what you're after, so... umm, let me know if it is :)

Flak - the 'mustang' is just a 'placeholder' for a hawker tempest which i have the model for but its not textured so i have to do it myself :( - Im trying not to spend loadsa cash on models at the mo so Im blagging freebies where I can. If anyone knows where i can find a free (textured) model of: Spitfires Hawker Hurricane Id be most appreciative in the nicest possible way!! Stash ;0)

spitfires and ME109s -> http://www.3dcafe.com/asp/aircraft.asp Also try fighter4.zip on that page - looks like a later model 109, but may be a better mesh. No german bombers though :/

There's a killer fw 189 model here, but it may not be quite right for a BoB shot, but hey...

I can't wait to see this one when it is done! I'll look around for some German bombers. I think I saw some somewhere.

You've got a big problem here. For a start you are using USAF B17s. The BOB was fought between British Spitfires and Hurricans and German ME109 fighters and Hienkel bombers. American aircraft played no part in this conflict at all. I don't believe that Hawker Tempests were involved either. Canadian and Polish pilots joined the ranks of British pilots but I'm afraid that there were no USA pilots either.

Wow! what a beautiful sky. I think it's one of the best I've seen, the transition from sky to water is perfect. 8) Catlin

Another thing, talking about skies........it is a matter of wonder that the BOB was fought during one of the best summers Britain had seen for years....clear blue skies and warm weather.....perfect for defending our land!

The blue skies must have stimulated that old blue blood. 8)
