Subject: Platinum Club Playing Silly Games Again....

Is anyone else having problems with the Platinum Club ? I purchased a years subscription to the Platinum Club about a month and a half ago, paying US$29.95 up front, and the US$7.95 per month. Up until yesterday everything was fine ... I was able to purchase Platinum Club items, no problems. Today, out of the blue, it has suddenly decided that I am no longer a member and won't allow me to purchase any products from the Platinum Club. I've written to them, but as the weekend is upon us, I dare say I won't hear anything from them for a while.

it said that for me day before yesterday. Even though I was on my cookie, with my name up top, when I logged in again, it worked fine...:>)

In my case, I logged out, cleared out the IE6 cache, and logged back in again. It still persisted in telling me I was not a PC member.

Just send DAZ an email. I had the same problem and they fixed it. Consider it growing pains since going to a monthly system is new. Apparently, you're supposed to receive an email that asks you to approve the next $7.95 installment. I never got mine. I'm surprised it's not like a recurring monthly billing setup where you keep paying till you ask to stop being a member.

Hmmmm....never got my EMail either. I thought that part of things was done behind the scenes, seeing as we agreed to the monthly deductions of $7.95 up front - this being the case, why do they need us to approve each subsequent instalment - are they insecure or something ????

Don't believe they are playing games, just having difficulties. I had a similar problem a month or so ago, when they changed servers, but they fixed it in fairly short order. After signing up, you have to specifically approve the $7.95 monthly charge on your account page, but after that it is automatic. At least that is how it worked for me.
