I would like to apoligise to all of you that have helped me with questions I have asked. and did not respond back. I'm new to the forums and did not know I needed to respond back I am very sorry and will not let it happen again. I dont want anybody mad at me for not responding back and I will start responding to each one of you that help. again my apoligy and most of all my thanks to all of you that have helped and hope that you will still help in the future.

no apology needed, there are no rules that say you have to respond back, just a thanks is nice since they took the time to help.. I can't imagine anybody being mad at you and welcome aboard

Well, it's easy to forget to respond, but it is nice for the people who answer questions, when someone says thanks. I'm sure sooner or later, you'll be answering questions yourself, and it helps to know people appreciate it. Anyway, good of you to make the extra effort to correct the mistake. And it is only a mistake. Don't worry, we all make 'em. mac

Call me sensitive, but I need to say this which is directly related to this...and it hurts my feelings... someone asks a question, I answer it..then 2 or 3 posts down someone else answers it...and the questioner thanks the second person and not me...this really ticks me off... it makes me wonder why my answer had no merit and the next guys did....I suppose there are some known "experts" around, but it still doesn't feel good when this happens. And I've seen it happen to others as well, not just me... So, when you thank someone that has helped, don't be rude and ignore someone.

Dave-So - I've noticed that too, I assume maybe people read from the bottom until they hit an answer and assume that must be the first instance (well, either that or we're invisible).

I've often thought that I am invisible...in grocery and video stores, on the city streets, when walking through a door carrying tons of stuff...LOL...but it ain't funny ;) It may be rudeness, or perhaps folks are just in too much of a hurry to pay attention to things around them...self-centered... and here, perhaps first glances or scanning the content of the threads... Maybe we just need to regain some control over our lives and slow down a bit :) My brother-in-law, whom died at age 37 of lung cancer and resulting numerous blood clots/strokes, used a common phrase that I think we have forgotten... "stop and smell the roses"

I don't know, being invsible in grocery and video stores would have certain advantages, especially if it applied with extra strength when approaching the doors carying lots of stuff*. * unless they were automatic doors, of course.
