I have a legal Poser 5 software. I have a legal Vue software with 4.2 beta update.... My OS is XP. But i can't import pz3 file because vue say : "poser serial number is not valid"..... :o( I have post a message in this forum about this problem and gebe help me. I try many, many things with her to locate the problem.... but no solution... I have contact e-on technical support... but no solution... :o( But, i have a clue may be.... I have installed Poser with this method : I install poser 5 CD. Immediatly after, without lauch poser, i install Poser SR3 update. Then i launch Poser, i enter poser serial number. All is ok... As you know Poser sr3 upgrade bypasses the current anti-piracy method.... And when you install Poser 5 with this method. No unlock key is asked, only serial number.... Isn'it the cause of my problem... ??? Is vue need the unlock key AND poser serial number ??? My question : is somebody install poser 5 with my method, and have no problem with the PZ3 vue import process ??? Thank you for your help!

No, I had to reinstall Poser 5 and I did it the way you did, with only the serial after installing SR update. But I also have updated with the Poser 5 - Service Release 3 Figures Updater you can find at CuriosLabs site. Maybe you can try that. Guitta

one other thing to mention as a possible cause...do you have poser open at the time you are trying to import into Vue? If so close poser, then attempt the import. Since vue actually makes use of the poser exe... HTH /gz

I just reinstalled poser 5 today and did it exactly that way. Adding the addon before running. Saved m3, vic3 and stephanie and had no problem importing them into Vue. Hopefully Fretshredder's hint on the open poser fixes your problem I'm using xp as well.

Aleluia !!! I can now import Poser 5 Pz3 in Vue! Vue don't say to me "Invalid Poser serial number" ! The method : 1/ I uninstall Poser 5 (big, big job because i do backup my huge poser files libraries.... :o( 2/ I install Poser 5 CD, i start poser 5 AND I obtain unlock Key from Curious labs site. 3/ I install Poser 5 sr3 update. All is ok. 4/ I start Vue AND .... :o)) After Vue had located poser.exe no message "invalid serial poser number" YESSS !!! 5/ I can import PZ3 ! The difference with the problem situation, is, this time, i install the poser "unlock key"... Life is beautiful :o)) Thanks again all the people (Specially Gebe and Steve Bells) that help me !
