My understanding he passed away yesterday along with Johnny Cash, ironically on the same day, I enjoyed watching three's company.

Oh I loved him so much! he was an excellent comedian!he will be missed...so young and leave this world already.

He was a great Actor/Comedian. He's put a lot of smiles on people's faces.

I really liked the movie he made where he dressed up as a super hero but was just a normal guy. Can't remember the name tho. Johnny Cash was good too. I knew all the words to "A Boy Named Sue."

I remember a role he played in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as a demented android. It showed his versatility as a actor; he could do more than comedy. He could also play an excellent villain. He will be missed!

I loved that Buffy episode. It seemed he was having fun with his nice guy image. Even when he started to malfunction he managed to make the evil android character funny. But personally I'll always remember him in a 3's company scene where he was trying to get into a hammock. Physical comedy genius.

Three's Company was the best show, and John Ritter made it that way. I loved him and will truly miss his work. Rest in Peace, John.

The Three's Company show had pretty much the same plot. Someone overhears a conversation, misunderstands what was said, bedlam ensues, finally everything gets resolved. It was really the comic ability of the actors that kept the show so successful for so long. That is a very high tribute to all of the actors, but especially John Ritter.

I think Henry Winkler said it better than I could ever do when he stated that now he knows the true meaning of sadness. It was quite a shock.
