Well...I'm not going to get angry and scream etc, however my winter challenge will be delayed slightly...My older hd, the 40 gigger just crashed in a big way. I am extracting the disks and taking them to a specialist to have the information extracted, but this could take all week. Incase you didn't know, I have devoted my 40 gigger to bryce, 37 gigs of bryce/cg... i have an 80gig hd as well, and I just now purchased a 120 gig hd because the others were full... I might just remake the image, I didn't really like it that much, but, I really wanted to do a metaball image (duhh.....) of the first spring water rushing through cracks in the ice it would have been layered in that the water would have a spring background reflected in it while the ice would have a chilling winter sky environment.. I was also going to do some snow etc to fill in the image. sigh another wrench thrown into the clockwork, no bother, good luck to everyone.

I am soooo hoping that won't happen to me. I've still got 60GB to backup :( It's going to take weeks to burn that to CD's...

Yeah, it sucks, but My friend who thought he could extract some of the data says he can get 90% of it back, where it's not burnt and crispy. Which means a lot of corrupted files.
