Subject: Getting Carrara3 no matter what

Hello i'm a macos x user, and i've decided to buy carrara Studio 3. I used to have access to Ray Dream 5.5 but can't use it anymore, it doesn't work in the G5, and OS X. Although, i'm happy that at least Poser 4 works in the g5, i'm saving some money there, he he he. It has some weird problems though. Poser suddenly quits on me. I have a hunch that it is due to problems in the special Mac Version that came with the G5. Well anyways, i wanted to start creating my animations and i like the Lens flare and everything in Carrara. When the heck is Carrara getting to stores? They don't have it at the maczone yet See ya

There was a delay with the packaging. I'd be interested in seeing some render times on that new box, can't decide between a ti-book or G5 myself.

don't know about you but for me the G5 solved many problems. I use poser and coudln't even start a descent full render anim. For example, one frame would take minutes, like 5 or sometimes just wouldn't. I had a G3 at 300Mhz. Now it renders one frame full render( maybe without antialiasing) at 10 seconds. creating my movs now and happy : )
