Subject: Quick Question, When is an imported for Max5 + coming out

Can someone tell me when the Poser importer for Max 5 will be out, we use 4 and 5 in the office, (soon to use 6, hopefully) but 4 has almost be phased out now. Only Max 4 will allow us to import a Poser animation and without an imported we will have no use for Poser. I though this type of plugin would be an essential one for Curious Labs to develope???? We wont be upgrading poser unless we can actually use it in Max :o( any help appreciated, Tom

Is this what you're looking for? Also, IIRC the ProPack plugins works fine with Max5, I used it last winter.

Ahh thanks for the link, I have Poser 4 Pro Pack, if I upgrade to Poser 5 do I still need to purchase body studio? or will it work with Poser4 and max 5. Am I right in saying that now I have to pay for the plugin to import animations? I know I have to pay extra for ProPack but ther was additional stuff along wiht the importer. Paying for it isnt a prob I just want to make sure I know full details before I ask for the cash , thanks T

Poser 5 includes all of ProPack's functionality, except for the 3ds/LW/C4D plugins. That's what the Reiss-Studio plugins are for, they're the successors of the ProPack plugins. I don't own 3ds or the Reiss-Studio plugin, but if you use the search function in this forum, you should get some user opinions about it. From what I heard, people seem to be very happy with Body Studio.

Also Habware's FREE obj to MAX plugin works great for exporting poser into max.
