Is anyone noticing that Renderosity is running somewhat slower than normal? I'm trying to find if it's my PC, my ISP or something else. Just happened the last day or so. cheers Phil

The gallery is painful, three "operation has timed outs" in a row just to try and open 1 image. I think the upgrades processes are hurting. Everything else seems a bit laggy but not too bad.

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

Well, at least it's not just me. Thanks for the quick response.

Seems after about 1100 surfers online in here and it will not handle it.I've been watching the numbers and last night there were at one time 1400+ online and it was painful.Later there were 1107 and it was fast as normal.

its defintly been running slow for me, its never been this bad before--every once and a while it runs fine, but for the most part I can barley navigate w/ a DSL connection.

I keep getting connection resets and SQL errors - "too many connections" Funny thing is I'm getting this on other sites as well... thought it was my ISP...

Good thought it was just me.whew.. Ive seen 1600 online and i surfed fine,in the past, but now sheez it is slow as a snail crawling cross refrigerated maple syrup.. /8^) Side note.this is the only site that I've got bookmarked that is this slow..

"Reinstall Windows" is NOT a troubleshooting step.

I'm showing about 1960-odd at the moment. It usually runs somewhere between 1100-1600, around 1300 is about normal.

2025 now, and this isn't the firt time today I've seen it over the 2000 mark. Very slow.

Here (In The Netherlands) the site is slower than a senior carrier pigeon with astma :) Been like this for the last two days. Hope they get it fixed soon.

catlin_mc ( ) posted Mon, 15 September 2003 at 1:36 PM

Over in the Poser forum Tammymc thanked everyone for their patience and said they were working on it. So at least they're trying to solve whatever the problem is. Catlin

Yeah, I have a cable modem, and the site has been as slow as a 56k modem downloading a 20mb file. Glad to hear they're working on fixing it.
