Hey everyone. I am not very good at morph targets so I need some help with a morph for M3. The area where the side of his nose and his cheeks is a little too puffy for my taste. I'd like to see it a lot flatter. I've tried playing with the morph dials, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, this is my first M3 post, be gentle ;)

I can do that no problem. Just not positive what you mean. If you could put a scribbled photoshop thing along where you mean I will try and help .. or describe to me more etc :)

Trying to get sharper lines on the nose for a more chiseled look. The area along side the nose are a little too puffy. It's a bit difficult to explain. I really like M3 except for the nose. There also seems to be a lot morphs in the head pack than there were for V3.

Will take a stab at it tomorrow I have about 25 or so additional morphs I have done for his head but I hadn't gotten that one specifically.

Dunno, maybe it's not a problem with this area at all just the overall shape of the nose which is bothering me... Can't seem to get the same look as I could with M2.

I've noticed this too. I'm trying to do my M3 version of Bono, and he has a very sculpted nose. It's hard to get that even with ZBrush but I'll keep trying. Any additional morphs that could help us out would be appreciated. :) -RockNRollWoman

I think I have about 7 nose morphs in those 25 so far. To me the nose is really, really straight. With my broken nose looking back in the mirror it always looks a little odd but I have tried to add to the morphs that Daz did ...

Here is a quickie nose morph to see if it is what you are looking for. the first is default, second is on and third is at 2 just so you could defiantely see it.

Sort of, but not just at the bottom of the nose. The whole side of the nose needs to be a little more distinct from the cheeks and eye cavity. I tried using the eye depth morphs to some efficiency, it just didn't help with the cheek-nose problem.

Ghostofmacbeth ( ) posted Sat, 13 September 2003 at 8:58 PM

I think it was mostly the default lighting but will try again ...

Wow, great job on the nose morphs :) I know this is completely off topic, but Ghost, do you make skin textures? I think I've seen your work at DAZ. If so I really need some help w/ finding the right one for a char I'm trying to make with M3 (or V3 Male).

Ghostofmacbeth ( ) posted Sun, 14 September 2003 at 9:42 AM

Yep I make textures and thanks ... Will be doing more morphs today.

RnRWoman ( ) posted Mon, 15 September 2003 at 6:13 AM

Awesome! You're welcome :) If it's not too much to ask, could you help me with a character I'm making? I need a specific texture. And I'm looking all over for one and I can't really find what I'm happy w/, and I need some advice from someone who knows more about morphs and skin textures. Ok, great! Cant wait to see your morphs! :)

Ghostofmacbeth ( ) posted Mon, 15 September 2003 at 9:29 AM

I could possibly help :) And didn['t have much of a chance to work on the morphs yesterday but will be doing them tonight.

Ok great, thank you! Can I e-mail you to tell you what I specifically need help with or do you want me to send you a private IM on here? :)

Ghostofmacbeth ( ) posted Mon, 15 September 2003 at 8:12 PM

E-mail ghostofmacbeth@earthlink.net or IM here. Mail might be quicker now since the server seems to be so slow (possibly a little better now)

Ok, will do! Look for an e-mail from me. :)
