Subject: M3 Base Figure: How large is it in terms of megabytes?

Would appreciate it if the M3 owners out there could kindly let me know how large the M3 Base Figure (just with the native "expression morphs" and NO additional head or bodymorphs injected) is in terms of megabytes. And with some of the additional head and body morphs injected, say for a "superhero" type character, how much does this swell to? And in general, how "resource-intensive" is M3? Thanks! :-D (The reason why I'm asking is that while I thought the DAZ Millenium Dragon was an incredibly comprehensive and flexible character, it was too resource intensive for me to pose and render on a regular basis; instead I ended up using the freebie Millenium Dragon LE for all my dungeons & dragons fanstasy needs.)

Can't load Poser right now, to much stuff happening on my machine. But the actual Base Cr2 is 1.21 Megs (object file is 8.21). Someone else will have to help you out with the morph side of it, I don't save anything with morphs loaded, so I can't check that out without running Poser.

My M3 with all morphs injected is 71.5 MB For comparison, the loaded V3 figure is 119 MB.

maybe that's why M3 has less morphs ???

If you use M3 & V3 right, they can be smaller than M2 & V2 in filesize. With all Morphs injected and that brand-new supercool hires tex, they're memory hogs and lock up my computer everytime. With careful character design, remembering that a full-body length render doesn't need a 6kx6k head map, and Removing the morphs I don't need to use (I almost always Spawn a head morph for my character and Remove everything but the expression morphs), most things run really smooth.

Yup. I have NO trouble on my "not-very-powerful" machine. ;) But then, I never understood why everybody loads everything and uses that for all. I don't keep anything loaded. All my characters have their own injection poses, as do my expressions. Then if I want to tweak, I just inject what I need. I have none of the usual hangups P4 people have. If you use the injections the way they were intended, V3 and M3 are LESS memory intensive than their previous version.
