I popped some of my favorite music into winamp and started the the avi window. The plugin was called tuggammi or something like that. Any time I saw something interesting I did a screen capture. I managed to snag these psycadelic materials in about 5 minutes.

Yes, I just pressed print screen then pasted into Paintshop and cropped. Any photo program with a select tool will work though. These are all saved as JPGs. Since the patterns are driven by the sounds the results are random. I could grab several slightly different versions for each visualization just by playing different songs. Here's the pattern on the cone in the foreground. The AVI display in Winamp is called Duo Dye in Water. It starts as yellow lines in blue. These start to bulge and run like oil on water.

Wow Man! Like really cool! I can remember when we all wore tee shirts that looked like that.

Cool! I used to program my own visualizers for MediaJukebox in Notepad and make my own objects for them in PSP. And I made a few winamp visualizers too. Here's some of my winamp creations.

Whoa, Rayraz! How did ya make your own visualizations? It looks like something I'd like to try.

Yeah Rayraz! How 'did' you make your own visualizations, I'd like to give it a go! Got these just before PSP crashed, and then I had to use 'printscreen', PSP refused to capture anything else....

I used the Advanced Visualisation Studio version 2.5 It came with my Winamp 2.81 download. Just right click on the wave visualizer and you can select your plug-ins. It's got several visual tricks you can plug in and blend and layer over each other and you can sometimes give custom formula's too.
