Hi, I placed my order yesterday morning, and still have not received any kind of confirmation, they are still checking on my order. Any one else? I emailed them but still have not received any word. Sharen

Sharen...don't know if this helps but when I ordered Vue 4 about 6 months ago, I never got a confirm or anything...it just showed up about week later.....

Me too. I guess I should be glad to be "logged"

And at least you folks ordered on the web. I ordered via phone in the USA, and the gal taking the order had not been informed that new software was available. I had to suggest to her everything she should be taking about my order. Gives a person a lot of confidence that this particular order will be filled real soon, doesn't it. (Sigh!)

SAMS3D ( ) posted Wed, 17 September 2003 at 6:31 PM

LOL...lingrif....LOGGED....exactly what does that mean? Oh well I am sure they are busy and dlk30341 is right, we just should wait, maybe it is in my mailbox now....I should go look....oops can't have to get ready for that silly hurricane that has to come by. You know that is what will happen, I will get it and I will have no power to run it. That kind of thing happens to me all the time. If I don't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.....from a song.

I'm "logged" and "being reviewed" after 24 hours of waiting.

DigReal ( ) posted Wed, 17 September 2003 at 7:42 PM

I checked on my order first thing this morning, and the e-on page said it was ready to ship. Got notice about an hour ago that it went out (fedex next day, which I ordered). The system seems bogged down, but working.

Can't wait for tomorrow to get here. :-)

I ordered last night. I haven't checked the web site, but my card was charged already. I do have an Order#, but I flat forgot to bring it with me, and now I'm out in the field until around 3:30 AM. I have received no emails at all, so far in the process, though. But I think also, that it's just that they're swamped. Norm

Update: I just received an email from e-onsoftware that my copy has been shipped today (Wed). Considering when I put the order in, I'd bet everyone who has had an order in by 10 or 11 AM, got theirs shipped today, too. Maybe just now, there is a flood of emails going out to purchasers... :) Norm

I just looked and mine is being prepared to ship....gets closer, starts to sweat, heart pounding.....going to love this. Sharen

Peggy_Walters ( ) posted Thu, 18 September 2003 at 2:39 PM

That must be one BIG log... My status still has not changed from logged and being reviewed for 2 days. Knew I should have selected the 3 day shipping.

Hang in there, Peggy. Apparently they ship late in the day, so your's may go out today. I got my copy an hour ago. (I'm waiting for a scene to export.. or I wouldn't be here right now!)

Dale B ( ) posted Thu, 18 September 2003 at 7:15 PM

I must have hit it just right; ordered yesterday evening and the order shipped today (waiting on the FedEx shipping # to show up....)

sacada ( ) posted Thu, 18 September 2003 at 8:33 PM

Still waiting.... :( I am still only "logged" after 2 days.

SAMS3D ( ) posted Fri, 19 September 2003 at 7:28 AM

OH man, you beat me, I ordered on Monday and mine is still being prepared to ship, maybe they just can't find a box for it. Hey Dale, I think you might have taken my box..... it would be great to have for the weekend, but there is another weekend coming next week, I will set my eyes there. Sharen

Dale B ( ) posted Fri, 19 September 2003 at 10:51 AM

Hmmmm.... Looking at it now.... Nope. No SAMS3D or Sharen on it. Sooorrreeeeeee.... :P :P :P ;) This monster has a 463 page manual (including the liscensing agreement) and a =nice= hardshell box. So a weekend is about right to just get an idea of what it can do... Now lets see how it installs. Later!

SAMS3D ( ) posted Fri, 19 September 2003 at 11:04 AM

LOL...have fun...Sharen

Dale B ( ) posted Fri, 19 September 2003 at 4:25 PM

Fun...? They reference Mover -5- in this thing....with =full= support for Poser 5 features (including the dynamics). -How- can I have fun waiting on tenderhooks for =that=? Easily. Now I get to see just how well Poser stuff imports. Oh, and Vue users are going to be in hog heaven. All the old features are still there, so there isn't a funky new interface to have to learn. Just the curve on the new toys. Hope you get yours Monday!

SAMS3D ( ) posted Fri, 19 September 2003 at 5:17 PM

I bought Mover 4 also, what do you mean Mover 5....? I am so confused. Sharen

Dale B ( ) posted Fri, 19 September 2003 at 6:14 PM

Mover 5 is apparently in the works; there is mention in the documentation that Vue4 Pro supports -both- Mover4 and 5. (and make sure you have your Vue 4 and Mover 4 reg numbers handy if you are getting the upgrade; the install asks for them. But otherwise leaves your Vue 4 install alone). I'm just thinking about what kind of animations =that= will allow... Windswept hills, storm rolling in, a lone figure atop a hill with clothing and hair whipping in the wind... When this comes out, it will make the Vue-Mover combo THE software to complement Poser with...
