Me, me. I'll join in :-) Shanna. (I have to show some team spirit, I'm trying to complete a job application form for a promotion.)

I never doubted for a second your team spirit. :) I'll look forward to reading your entry. Thank you for joining in. By the way, all you who buy Issue 7 should note that Shoshanna and her graphics are featured in the magazine. It's a great pleasure to see her interview in the pages.

You have better sources than I do, dialyn. ;-) By the time I found out any details about the contest, you'd already posted the info. 'Fess up. Do you have a crystal ball or a working time machine?

Hi Cres :) Because dialyn is Senior Editor of the Renderosity Magazine and a manager of the contest, I asked her to help promote it in the different forums ;] Renderosity hopes by sponsoring the Writing Contest that we will help promote and support the Writer's Forum as well as the many amazing writers withhin the Rosity community :) Thanks for allowing us to promote the contest here and we look forward to entries from your forum's members. Might I ask..? Will there be seperate sections for poetry and prose? I'm thinking it's a little difficult to judge one against the other.

Yes, the poetry and prose will be judged separately. I agree, it would be hard to judge the two together. A little bit more from Dee-Marie: Renderosity Magazine is trying something new, and we would like to know what you think of this idea. We are running a writer's contest for the first time in the Renderosity's Contest Section. As this is the first time a writer's contest has been conducted in this manner, we would like to get your views on what you think - and of course, while you are there, you can always post an entry. Please note: For the writer's contest - there is a Winner for the Top Poetry entry and for the Top Short Story ONLY; however, all entries have a chance to win the book Marry your muse [autographed by the author] in a random drawing.

You're welcome. I hope you can participate. :)

Well, I may give it a shot, although my poetry is generally rather "formal" and strictly in one of the recognised sonnet forms. It might be fun to twist it around a little though. ~g~

You've got nothing to lose, and the chance to exercise your muse. :)

Do take a look. It will be fun to see who will enter the first prose piece.
