bikermouse ( ) posted Fri, 19 September 2003 at 11:16 PM

Rochr, Remember to keep it down to 5.5 parsecs per milisecond. Man, thats nice!!!!!

scotttucker3d ( ) posted Sat, 20 September 2003 at 12:16 AM

sweet machines! Nothing spells sex and speed better than Lamborghini... ahh except maybe Ferrari. Nice pics and nice job on the license plate. Scott

chohole ( ) posted Sat, 20 September 2003 at 1:41 AM

Ah reminds me of the day I watched a guy bring this red Lamborghini out of the underground garage on Park Lane for a test run. Central London, a very busy 5 lane road. He stomped on the wrong pedal and totalled the car on the central res. I wasn't the only person there who was crying, and it wasn't the snarl up that was causing the emotion.

The greatest part of wisdom is learning to develop  the ineffable genius of extracting the "neither here nor there" out of any situation...."

bikermouse ( ) posted Sat, 20 September 2003 at 2:21 AM

I'm crying and I didn't even see the accident. Lamborghini abuse! I hope the judge threw the book at him! ouch

Rochr, did those friends allow you to try one of those cars? you know, just for the fun of driving a car like that at least once in you life :) Nothing spells sex and speed better than Lamborghini... ahh except maybe Ferrari. Try a Spyker C8 Laviolette with a V8 :) That car's sexier then 3 ferrari's. The V12 version is faster, but the rear is longer too and I think that doesn't look as good as the V8.

Rochr and chohole, Ten or so years from now when we're all rich and famous, we'll all race, um "tour", the autobaun in our brand new Lamborghini's. Personally I'm sort of fond of that Ochre color, but I'd settle for one of the red ones. - TJ

Rochr ( ) posted Sat, 20 September 2003 at 9:18 AM

Its just some of the people working at the raceway i know, unfortunatly not the Lambo owners. They came from all over Europe. For some reason, i never got to drive any of them. Guess it was the tentacles... :(

Too bad, Well if you do, remember the first rule of Italian Racing: "What is behind me is not important" - from "cannonball run", I think.

Rochr ( ) posted Sat, 20 September 2003 at 4:52 PM

That would be the cops then, cause theres no way in hell i would return a car like this... :)

100% hand build, each one is unique and slightly different then all the other ones. There's only very few made each year, I think 8 or something.

Do I see a lambo miura (or whatever it's spelled) in the BG? A white one. The Koenigsegg CC... Isn't that the fastest roadgoing car at this moment? I thought they had one that went more then 400Km/h.

You boys and your cars................lol 8) All I think about cars is will they go from A to B and are they reasonable with the petrol, and that's one thing I'm sure of with these models they will be petrol guzzlers. My car may not look sexy but it can climb mountains............I must take a photo and show you all. 8) Catlin

Ang25 ( ) posted Sun, 21 September 2003 at 4:18 PM

LOL, guys and cars and sexy rearend cars too. Only a guy would look at a piece of machinery and think its got a hot rearend. Personally I would love to be able to afford and own a Jaguar. Something about wood and leather interior turns me on. But for practical reasons I'm sticking with my Subaru's. I'll never forget my daughter coming home from the 3rd Crocidile Dundee movie to say to me "I didn't know the Subaru guy was in movies". Angela

Incarnadine ( ) posted Mon, 22 September 2003 at 12:36 AM

Koenigsegg CC! Always did like their stuff. A bit out of my price range though. I'll stick with my Volvo. In a cold Canadian winter nothing gets the babes faster than heated leather seats (grin!)

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

Rayraz ( ) posted Mon, 22 September 2003 at 1:53 AM

Ah, the Kangoo my dad has one of those, about the cheapest version we could find :) It's quite a few years old by now and it's got lot's of kilometers on it. They had to replace the engine mountings a couple of months ago. but it's a nice decent car. "Only a guy would look at a piece of machinery and think its got a hot rearend." only a woman would say something like that :P

If I had all the cars I want I'd need a bl**dy big garage. (for the 302 'stang, evo 7, jag xjr, maclaren F1 etc etc) Favourite car owned so far, a vauxhall chevette :-) Ok so it was heavily modified internally (looked fairly standard), 185bhp at the rear wheels on a rolling Dyno, and lightened as much as poss. Very quick and awesome handling. First kiddy forced sale :-(

Rayraz is your dads car a Trekka 4x4 or the 1.4?

catlin_mc ( ) posted Mon, 22 September 2003 at 4:40 PM

file_76853.jpg

All these cars are very pretty but I can do something with my car which can't be done with the sporty numbers and here's a pic to tell the story. I think this may also interest you Incarnadine. 8) Catlin

Rayraz ( ) posted Tue, 23 September 2003 at 6:46 AM

Our car can't do that :) it doesn't have a build in bed :) It's not a Trekka, because it's not a 4x4, so I think it's a 1.4 then. It's got a diesel engine and as far as I know it's front wheel drive. It's one of the oldest kangoo models.
