I was wondering if I should buy Mike 3 or not. Mike2 seems good enough for me. In addition, I can not use Mike2 clothes for Mike3.
My DOZ platinum member ship will expire soon. There are lots of Mike3 stuff over there. If I dont buy Mike3, I will probably not renew the membership.
It means Good By to DAZ.

DAZ produces nice stuffs, and I spent lots of money for the past year. I only used a part of stuffs I purchased. After I bought lots of stuffs for Victoria2, V3 appeared. Lots of stuffs are sleeping unused.

Maybe it is time to say Good By ?
Any suggestion, or opinion ?

I think that, yes, there is a lot of stuff at Daz now for Mike 3 but it won't stay that way forever. I'd say that you could always let your membership lapse and, at some future time, renew if you find the platinum membership to your liking again. I think you should take note that Mike 3 is getting updates and may be more usable to you, but that you are under no obligation to buy him. I think we have too many people who say good-bye when they don't know what tomorrow may bring. Some times "so long and I may hope to see you again" is a better strategy. But I think it is your choice. And not an irreversible one. Take care.

First, the PC is a choice I wouldn't make on M3 alone. The 30% discount and the monthly voucher are pretty good, and they'll have other items you'll probably want. However, you can always get it back later. As for M3, he does have a few problems. However, Daz just announced an SR they're working on (to be released in 10 days) that fix the most glaring ones. He's not M2. Not as muscular, more lean. His face is less overtly masculine, but I don't think you can really call him feminine. He's his own kind of guy. If you've gotten and like V3, I'd invest in M3. If you don't like V3, don't spend the money. As fot clothing, well, more will come at Daz and at other venues. There's already clothing being posted in freestuff, and some M2 clothing works with him (heavy jackets, some underwear). Some vendors are doing free M3 version of their M2 clothing. I use M2 and M3 together to get a different look. They work well together in scenes. Your choice, and dialyn is right (as always), not an irreversable one.

I've used most of Mike 2's clothing pack (I have the Fashions of the Old West) on Mike 3...you have to push'n pull a little but it works very well.

Sounds like you're unsure so you might as well wait and see what they release for a while. It's not like Daz is going to disappear any time soon and you can always rejoin at any time. Or you could rejoin now, after all it's only money.

The new Premier Preview feature of the PC sounds intersting. I do wonder, however, if it's a just a way of selling the platinum club items at a higher price. It will be interesting to see whether or not the items will be of the same Premeir quality as the other items.

Platinum Club items are the same excellent quality as Premiere items regardless. I would get M3. Oh, I already did. :) He comes with an M3-M2 version, so you can still use M2's clothes if you want.

The items in Platinum Club are GENERALLY smaller... but yes, I agree that they are top rate, nonetheless. I think of them as "LITE" versions of what might appear in the Premier section.

I got V3, and I like it. But I dont like that V3 does not share clothes with Victoria. DAZ does not seem serious about providing easy way to do it.

I like the high quality stuffs of DAZ. If I can use Mikes clothes on Mike3, I should probably buy it.
However, new Mike3 clothes in DAZ market cover whole body. What is the advantage of Mike3? We also may not care about the delicate body line for man.

Yes, it is only money, and a matter of priority.
I have no doubt that DAZ provides excellent stuffs with decent price.
It is unfortunate that we do not have another competing group or another DAZ.

Anyway, probably I have to buy it someday.
