THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Broken Glass problem solved...thanks everyone!

Ok, I figured it out.....lol I did this.... I repeated same steps as last night, only this time, (the one on the left) I used a bryce rock straight from the create toolbar. The one on the right is as I did last night... I duplicated the glass on the left, ungrouped the rock, and deleted the rock. Then I used the rock from last night, one of the ones from the create arrow and the box that pops up. regrouped and repeated final steps... It seems it wasn't an imported glass problem (as the glass wasn't imported) But a imported? rock problem...LOL Thanks to everyone who helped me figure out that the problem was on my end and keeping me puzzled enough to find out what it was! LOL Jen

Hey Jen, looks like you're getting good at breaking things!

JC_01 ( ) posted Thu, 25 September 2003 at 2:08 AM

LOL this actually gave me an idea...LOL playing with these glasses inspired me to do some more glasses, so I did a champagne glass, a lil wine glass, brandy glass, and a beer mug...LOL The beer mug (and the meds) inspired me to do something different....LOL wayyyy different then I usually do... I thought of a whole new way to use that house I'm working on....lol will post a WIP soon, is rendering now...hahahahah 71% and counting

danamo ( ) posted Thu, 25 September 2003 at 2:29 AM

Jen, you're scaring me! Not that beautiful house!

JC_01 ( ) posted Thu, 25 September 2003 at 2:34 AM

hahahah that one is still safe, but I saved the whole house as an object, so I can play with it now....LOL (have to take a break from that dern long render, everything i get about 5% into it, I find something wrong and have to start over...LOL) 47% AA'd......grins....

JC, Now that you know how to do it, you can break ships, towers or just about anything. Glad you were able to get it going, - TJ

Hmmmm I wonder if there was a check box for 'make solid in Boolean Operations' lurking around somehwere?

Glad you found the answer gen. 8) How are you girl, your sounding too happy to still be ill or is that just the effects of the meds your on? Stay happy and I hope in future all your renders are short. 8) Catlin
