Subject: Why I can't download files on the free stuff part?

Why I can't download files on the free stuff part? There is a message that appears that says that it cant find the file, is it something that has to do with javascript? Any extra that I need? I have Windows XP & Explorer 6.0.2600, and since some months I can't download anything from this site?

It sounds like it's a problem with your Internet Explorer settings. (Or whatever browser you're using.) If you have pop-up blocking software installed, disable it. Also, check your security settings and make sure your security setting is medium or lower, not high. And make sure Java is enabled. (You might want to download the latest version of Java as well.) Finally, download and install the latest patch for IE. I've found it fixes a lot of Javascript problems.

I sometimes get the "No file specified" error. Usually refreshing the page, or moving to "next" then back to "previous", fixes it. It seems more likely to happen if Outlook Express is closed and there is only one IE window open but it can happen anytime.

java has nothing to do with it.

That "No file specified" is very annoying! I can't predict when it will happen. Some sessions I'm totally free of it, others it happens on every file I try to download.

just a stab at it. somehow the header is getting either lost or screwed up. if the script doesnt get the request as being Post instead of Get then you get the No file specified. In heberm's case its most likely a setting on the pc end, in addition to, the server processing so many users at once. this site really is in need of a database upgrade. or better programming that uses the existing one more efficiently.
