Of course M3 is new so I don't expect to find much but who knows what is available, what is good, and where can I get it? Thanks in advance ...

Sydd Raven's Textures @ Runtime DNA would be a really good start (beachboy for M3) If you've got the Universal Texture Convertor with the M2/M3 plugins you can use your favourite M2 textures on M3

There isn't much to choose from yet, is there ?

Also you can use whatever male textures are made for V3 :o) There are some minor differnces, but 99% of the texture works just fine. I have a (painted) male texture for V3Male in Free Stuff, Victor.

At Daz there's a few, some good, some better. I like Christian in Special Interest. Also Harley by Mint here in the MP is pretty nice. Any V3 male texture looks pretty good on M3, though there are no maps for the genitals. The best bet is still getting the Universal Texture Converter and the M2 and M3 plug-ins. It does a pretty good job of converting M2 textures to M3.

I'll have to wait for a couple of weeks myself...funds beyond tapped :)

Me and paul have done a char set that you can see in the special interest section called World of m3. It is a photo realistic text set based off of greybros male photos.

apologies to everyone I missed out in my original reply, I haven't looked very far for M3 textures as I don't have him yet. dkal the texture convertor is pc only at the moment, but if it's one of the things Daz bought from Dark Whisper it'll be on Mac at some point in the future.

Where's Mikani? At the DAZ store? Did a search but couldn't find him.

Mikani is over at Poserpros.com I wish people converted more stuff over to the Mac platform... The hi-res universal textures for M3 at Daz aren't bad at all. :)

I do have the DAZ universal Hi Res, but a bit expensive, I think, considering 1 body, 1 face....but very good quality. cheap or free is good at this point :)

Thanks, Dave-So. I was thinking about getting the lower-res version of the "Universal" texture. Might do that some day. I did just get the "Jade" texture from DAZ. For the most part it looks really good but I'm having technical problems and weirdness with it. Not sure if it's the Jade texture or M3 himself. Thanks for your response. :-)

Can't praise enough about Lobo75's series of characters available at poserpros.com. Really magnificent characters and realistic textures. Whoa! Near reality comes to Poser in the male form ... finally! The technical problem I was having had nothing to do with Mikani or his brothers. It was all about trying to "fix" the initial problem that M3 had over four different hard drives because I had moved the Poser program from one hard drive to another and the DAZ installer program automatically assumed I wanted to update the M3 files on the "wrong" drive. Now M3 is working just fine. Thanks, Lobo75! Great work! Keep it up! Dkal Mikani and his Bros are now working just fine!
