This might be a little extra work but you may want to consider it. Get rid of the tank top clothing altogether (don't start fussing until you read the rest). Export the t-shirt figure as obj file. Use UVMapper to create a template for the t-shirt. Create a transparency map that makes the tshirt look like a tank top. Use the same template to create a bump map for the same look as the tanktop. This should work assuming the t-shirt doesn't have the same conforming problem as the tank top. (test out the t-shirt without t-maps first)
Errrmmm... figure morphs will not function on clothing.. something to do with the poly/vertex counts... If you want to get really fancy you could export the chest,collars, abs to an obj.. pull that into a 3D modeling prog.. Rhino, Raydream, 3DMax... and make the tank from that then ... naaah.. too fancy.. I got lost thinking on it... ) Wizzard
