Awesome indeed! The scale is mind numbing. I worked in a hotel in England that was considered 4star, but it's not a patch on the Luxor. Our Hotel had 120 rooms and people used to say what a big place it was, compare this to the Luxors 4500 rooms and it's not even the biggest hotel in Vegas!!!!

All the Woes of a World by Jonathan Icknield aka The Bryster
And in my final hours - I would cling rather to the tattooed hand of kindness - than the unblemished hand of hate...
hey, congrats to you both! I read this poem when I got married 23 years ago...still very happy in my marriage, and still remember to live by these words. Marriage Then Almitra spoke again and said, "And what of Marriage, master?" And he answered saying: You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore. You shall be together when white wings of death scatter your days. Aye, you shall be together even in the silent memory of God. But let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping. For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together, yet not too near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow. Words by, Khalil Gibran 1883-1931 So glad you enjoyed your visit to our country, someday I'd love to see yours. Wishing you both a happy and healthy life together. Teri R

Been away for a while, thats because I've been to the States and got married! I had the best time! We went to New York for a week, then to Vegas to get married, before finishing our trip in San Francisco. Highlights included A flight in a helicopter over New York at night. This was superb to see the "city" at it's best just as the moon rose from behind the skyline! Chilled in central park basking in the glorious sunshine. What a place, puts our city parks to shame in England. Visited Ground zero which is very humbling and moving. We walked every where which I think is the best way to soak up the atmosphere, but not good for the feet! Then we went to Vegas, wow what a place the hotels are just unbeleivable. We stayed in the Luxor with a great view of the landscape. We got married in the "little white chapel of candlelight" Big thanks to Bob our limo driver, but get some face cream buddy, with all that flaky skin we didn't need confetti. Then we were whisked off for a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon, taking in Hoover Dam and Lake Mead on the way. We descended the 3000ft into the canyon where we had a champagne picnic. In the evening we went to the "Top of the world" restaurant at the stratosphere. A revolving restuarant atop a 1000ft tower. The view was spectacular to say the least. I still can't believe it has a rollercoaster on the outside on top of the restaurant, only in Vegas! Then on to San Francisco, we stayed in the heart of China town. All restaurants and funny little souvenier shops. Whilst we were there we took a bike ride over the Golden Gate bridge to Sausilito, a boat trip under the bridge and ofcourse a night tour of Alcatraz. So all in all a holiday of a life time, and to all you Yanks thanks for making it so special! See you in the galleries, glad to be back! Cheers Joe P.S Thanks to my good friend Tricksta for his dedication in his gallery, and all those others fo their good wishes!
