I just spent 40.00$ on a 6 months poser world scrip. I know this might be too late to ask, but does anyone know if it's worth it? --Essie

bknoh ( ) posted Wed, 01 October 2003 at 7:59 PM

Worth it at twice the price! Not only do they come out regularly with wonderful models and textures, but you can often get Steve to make something you just have to have. Diane

Yoo've made a wise investment. Just search the archives for "PoserWorld" and you will find plenty of testimony about what a great site it is.

pdxjims ( ) posted Wed, 01 October 2003 at 8:11 PM

I hope you've got high speed access. There's so much there you can spend weeks just downloading. And it's all good.

Well worth it, when I can afford it...I'll renew.

Great site, and the models are well worth the sub. Marque

I love his room props, Steve always has neat stuff in them. Lot's of clothes too.

Love is Grandchildren.

lhiannan ( ) posted Wed, 01 October 2003 at 9:38 PM

Every bit worth it... As soon as I can scrimp that change together, I'll be purchasing a lifetime membership. The fee alone is worth just one update (and there are frequent updates).

nakamuram ( ) posted Wed, 01 October 2003 at 9:54 PM

Bad investment!! Should have gone for the lifetime!!

Sydney_Andrews ( ) posted Wed, 01 October 2003 at 10:16 PM

To repeat above, well worth it.

Carcinogen ( ) posted Wed, 01 October 2003 at 10:28 PM

Definitely worth it. Steve has top quality stuff, and has normal clothing and career clothing not found anywhere else.

sandoppe ( ) posted Wed, 01 October 2003 at 11:10 PM

Absolutely worth it. I'll be renewing when my subscription comes due in December. Thanks to ernyoka1 for recommending it to me!! Best bucks I've ever spent!

It is definitely worth it! I'm going to get the lifetime subscription next time. It is almost the only place where you can find contemporary stuff for Mike and Vicky 3...

fauve ( ) posted Thu, 02 October 2003 at 2:37 AM

After a couple of years of membership, I recently bought a lifetime sub. :-) I've never been anything less than delighted with PoserWorld. It's a very well-run site and the value for the money is terrific.

jjsemp ( ) posted Thu, 02 October 2003 at 3:57 AM

Lifetime member here and proud of it! -jjsemp

Bobbie_Boucher ( ) posted Thu, 02 October 2003 at 5:55 AM

I had a year's membership, and basically enjoyed all the stuff. I had some money problems and couldn't afford to renew. They don't offer any discount for renewing members, and that is one big mistake in my book. My subscription lapsed a year ago. A couple reviews of their new content haven't provided any great incentive to renew just yet. So far I've waited two years for some of my requests to come to life. I subscribed to another Poser service awhile ago, and won't renew that membership. If I happen to have enough free money in coming months, Poserworld will likely get my vote. Poserworld has released lots of stuff for Vicky 3 and Mike 3. That's great for those of us who could barely afford to get the characters with their morphs!

stallion ( ) posted Thu, 02 October 2003 at 7:32 AM

Unfortunately my subscription laps because my school tuition had to take precedence (it was a close battle) over my poser addiction and I have been going through withdrawal every since. Soon as I get the funds I'm renewing best believe...

You might as well PAY attention, because you can't afford FREE speech

definately worth it,as soon as i am able i will too be getting a lifetime subscription :)

Berserga ( ) posted Thu, 02 October 2003 at 8:45 AM

I wish I'd got a lifetime sub last year. My 6 month lapsed in march, and now I have to wait till the beginning of the year to be able to budget a lifetime. From what I've seen of the new stuff since I left it looks fantastic. The house and Motorcycle alone are worth a 6 month sub. :D Here's an example of why steve and Poserworld rocks. I requested 2 items that I need for my animation in the PW forums: a waitress outfit and a nurses uniform for V2. He made them both and quickly too, and not just for V2 but for V3 also. (which is good since I switched my main character to V3 soon after that.)You just can't beat service like that. I may not re-up at Platinum club but I am definately getting a poserworld Lifetime sub in January.

genny ( ) posted Thu, 02 October 2003 at 10:35 AM

Another "Life-er" here! I bought the subscription the first year they started, and I had to ask my-self.....WHY not just go ahead and spend the extra money for a lifetime subscription.........because I KNEW I would re-new the following year when that subscription ran out? Great clothes, great props, great everything.......but most of all....Steve........one, heck of a Great Guy! Worth every penny and I am positive, you will not regreat it. genny

PoserWorld is one of the best investments any Poser user could make. I've been a life time member since they first offered it. Ed

Hooked on PW since the beginning... Besides, Steve is a real sweety! None of that PoserStyle crap over there!

I bought my first 6 month sub last month and I'm incredibly happy with it! Blimey, I downloaded enough in the first HOUR of access to more than cover the price I paid!

Steve, you're better off than me. I'm griping by on a 56K dialup in the US. We are in a small town and DSL is still not available to us. We could get cable internet (over the cable tv lines) if we could afford it.

Fredy ( ) posted Fri, 03 October 2003 at 8:10 AM

Ok, finally convinced. Did an annual subscription today. Boy, never thought that so much stuff is available!!! Why didn't I subscribed earlier? #-)
