Subject: Help a girl with a beard?

I have a beard object that I downloaded from ghastly software, and I 've put it through the uv mapper and the tried to make a transmap and texture for it. However, it just doesn't seem to work. I even just tried just the texture and nothing shows up. What am I doing wrong, I know I am new to Poser stuff...but by all I can tell it should work.....HELP?

LOL great subject line.... ok NOW I understand what you need :) Ensure that you are applying the texture to the whole object, not just the Preview material. Also see that your document window is set to Texture Shaded (if you can not find it just hit Ctrl+9) PhilC

Urk, all there is to the beard is preview material. What do I do now?

Can you send me the OBJ and texture to look at? PhilC pcooke@philc.net

If you aren't set to Texture Shaded, you can't see the textures until you render it. Try a render and see what happens. Melanie

I did and it didn't show up in the render at all.

Have you exported the beard as an object, transmapped with UVMapper, then imported it back in? It's the only way I can get it to go.... now if there's an easier way....... ) Wizzard
