Well, Gosh! Thanks everyone! OK, the image as seen in the magazine is a revamp of the one in my Rend Gallery. I picked it up, dusted it down and corrected all the horrible errors it had. Then I re-sized and upped the rez. Viola'. 3D Chess Set was one of a series I started. There is another in the same style featuring a regular chess set, and one featuring the set they use in Star Trek - actually modelled on Star Treks own specs - All are on my own website at http://uk.geocities.com/bryster3d I have a couple more planned but they're on the back-burner ATM. 3D Chess Set was made quite some time ago ENTIRELY in Bryce 3D. NO METABALLS! But re-vamped with Bryce 5. Also, no imports and no postwork at all whatever! I only used TWO .mats Brushed Pewter and Brushed Silver! Both standard .mats in Bryce. I can supply the figures if you want. Finally, I was just lucky, I guess. I got the heads-up from the forum and gave it a shot. Lucky, 'cos I had just done the re-vamp and was feeling pretty chuffed about the result, especially after my son's sopper-dooper-puter did the job in nothing flat. Thanks once again! I'll try not to get too big-headed about it....oh and thanks to 3Dnspiration for posting it! Regards The Bryster PS: I'd like to shove this image under the noses of all those who said Bryce was just a landscaper....:-)
