You'll have to keyframe the body's yTran values to elevate the character. You can either do this manually, or with a clever Python script in Free Stuff.

Hi Guys, I have the bodystudio plugin for Maya - I would like to make my character run up a hill in Maya - How would I achieve that? - The character is rigged in Poser 5 - but the poser path seems to be one dimensional - I can only move the character along the ground but not up. Any thoughts?
