Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 02 11:49 pm)
Well! I just tried both PSD & TIFF! They work fine! Oops! Just got your reply... Glad you solved it! I do remember now, that you mention it! That poser will something "Screw" a pz3 file. Have you noticed that sometimes it will create a RSR file with the pz3??(Don't know what that does, aren't they usually created with library files?) Anyhow, Good Animating! Marc
I've noticed that Poser can't make up its mind about the alpha channels. The first image rendered after Poser is opened is often saved with the background selected, I invert the selection to grab the objects and people out. Renderings after the first one of the session usually have the objects selected correctly. I render to the same window, I don't know what it does when you render to a new window. I save in psd format.

I'm working on an image and I was going to use the Alpha channel to isolate my people while I did some Post work. Only problem is when I load the Alpha channel as a selection I get the area between the models and not the models. The only area in the alpha channel is that funny "ghost" area between the models. Since this is an animation, manually tracing the figures to isolate them is just not a viable sslution. Any Ideas? Nerd
