Thanks very much Andy this tree is not so big that it takes up all the scene in mb's. 1.5mb is very doable. Thanks again. `shoop

Thanks! :) You can never have to many trees.

Beautiful Tree! You make me so sorry that I can't use it, because of the non-commerical limitation. You do amazing work, your talent shows. :O)

Spit ( ) posted Thu, 02 October 2003 at 9:52 PM

Love the foliage! It's gorgeous. BTW the non-commercial limitation also means you can't enter contests using it if there are any kind of prizes involved.

Spit- I never thought about it, but it makes sense. :O) I took a look at your gallery, you've done some great work. I like "Picnic", "Quiet Moment", "Do Faeries Ponder". Have you considered doing Children's Books? Those images are "magic" I see you use VUE, I just got it and is looks like a terrific program. I never use/download non-commerical items, even if permission is given to use them commericaly. The record keeping is a problem, too much of a chance of using something by mistake. zxcvb- Fantastic work, have you considered putting together a package of trees for the Market Place? I'd buy it and from the response above, so would a lot of people.

Spit ( ) posted Fri, 03 October 2003 at 3:40 AM

Thank you. I've thought about it but haven't really pursued it yet. Vue is terrific, though I've been using just Poser lately. I do download stuff that is marked as non-commerical because sometimes there's confusion and the license with the item actually allows images to be used commercially. However if it isn't, I don't install it. I agree, that's one heckuva tree!

Philywebrider ( ) posted Fri, 03 October 2003 at 4:21 AM

Spit- If you decide to try children's Books, let me know. There are a number of books on "how to" for the format of submissions, etc. Its harder to sell a writer/aurthor than just an artist. Right now a some publishers are "open" to computer Art. You could buy or get them the books from the library. zxcvb- Think about selling a tree pack. :O)
